Vendée Miniature

A miniature village

The strength of Vendée Miniature lies in the extraordinary 450 m² 1/10ᵉ scale model, which reproduces a 1900-1920 Vendée village in impressive detail. More than 650 characters, 50 buildings, cobbled streets, farms, a church, a water mill and even a steam locomotive traverse this miniature landscape, where every scene reflects rural life of yesteryear.

Each building is constructed with materials faithful to those used in the period, and the decor is meticulous down to the smallest detail. Work scenes, old trades, animals from the bocage and sound and light animations bring the village to life before the eyes of visitors, as if transported to another century.

A work of passion

and patience

The creation of this miniature village is no accident: it’s the culmination of over 20 years of passionate work. The park was imagined and developed by craftsmen with a passion for model making and local history, who spent years fine-tuning every detail of this miniature world. Since its creation, the model has grown year after year, enriched with new scenes and new elements, making it today a unique attraction in France.

This attention to detail extends to the figures and animals – some handmade by ceramists – and to the animated scenes that punctuate the visit. The miniature train winding its way through the village, or the threshing machine in action, are all elements that captivate the attention and arouse the curiosity of visitors.

An ideal outing

for the whole family

Vendée Miniature is an ideal activity for a family outing. Accessible to all ages, the visit takes place in a sheltered, air-conditioned area – making it perfect even in inclement weather – and usually lasts between 1 h and 1 h 30. Children and adults alike enjoy discovering these animated scenes and observing every nook and cranny of this miniature village filled with fascinating details.

In addition to visits to the village, the park sometimes organizes workshops and fun activities, such as pottery sessions or themed exhibitions (e.g. around LEGO bricks), which further enrich the experience.

Practical information

The park is open mainly during the tourist season, from April to September, as well as during certain school vacation periods, with opening times adapted according to the season. Adult and children’s tickets are available, as well as “family pack” formulas to make the visit even more accessible.
