Die <strong>Stele des Marais Girard<\/strong>, die in den <strong>Ruinen eines alten Wachhauses aus dem Jahr 1756<\/strong> errichtet wurde, erinnert an die Z\u00f6llner, die fr\u00fcher die K\u00fcste der Vend\u00e9e bewachten und insbesondere den Durchgang und die Besteuerung des Salzes, fr\u00fcher <em>Gabelle<\/em> genannt, kontrollierten. Die Stele wurde 1968 restauriert und symbolisiert eine Zeit, in der die K\u00fcste streng bewacht wurde.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicht weit davon entfernt zieht auch der <strong>rote Stein des Marais Girard<\/strong> die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Es handelt sich um eine imposante <strong>Ader aus rotem Quarz<\/strong>, die sich an die Klippen schmiegt, mehrere Meter hoch ist und sich ins Meer hinaus erstreckt.
